This Perl program is designed for one thing and one thing only: open one old database Perl file with line @arrays, read them, manipulate them, sort them and merge them into the format of a newer existing database. It will delete the old database files from the server if you select that option.
The program will call both databases, older and newer, convert the older to reflect the format of the newer, sort and merge it with the newer and create a new database file in that directory. That's it. Will save you hours of tedious work, especially if you database is large
We have coded it to run a demo on your server before you dive into your own project. A few server related variables is all that is needed to see how it works. Just upload the demo directory tree, set your variables and call the script as instructed. It is a fully funtional demo so you will see exactly how it works.
We have also created an HTML demo of the script in action and made it available through the link below.
P.S. If you're looking for a simple quick one click no form download application, we have it. Your end user will appreciate it Check it out. That's what powers your download of this program.
